Sarah Collins
I have over 25 years’ experience of working in businesses of various sizes, originally as an employed executive-level PA and, in recent years, as a Business Manager to small, newly formed businesses. My degree in Managerial and Administrative Studies from Aston University stood me in good stead to understand the basic elements of a business and how those elements fit together to contribute to the strategic plan of the company, and those elements contribute to my thoughtful approach to business process and management today.
Having undertaken a Graduate Training Programme at NCR Limited, I embarked on a career as a PA in the creative industry, starting out at a direct marketing agency in Soho, London and eventually moving to a brand research agency.
In starting a family and moving to Oxfordshire, the balance of family life and career had to change a little and I started my own fledgling ‘virtual PA’ business 15 years ago, working through the night while the babies slept!
Hard work, evidenced by quality delivery on projects for a number of clients has developed my business in providing more strategic, but actionable, support for small firms (especially those starting out) and supporting individuals with their own fledgling businesses.
I can provide insight and develop ideas to further your business goals, as well as getting down to the nitty gritty of just ‘getting a job done’, as and when required. My skills are varied from document creation to business planning, from diary management to event management, from practical organisation to sourcing appropriate suppliers to support the business need.
